Under the Employers' Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969 you are required by law to ensure that the welfare of yor employees or subcontractors is protected should the suffer an injury or contract a disease whilst at work. Any policy that you arrange has to have a minimum level of indemnity of £5,000,000 for Employer's Liability Insurance. The Health & Safety Executive can and will fine any business that does not have this minimum level of cover to protect their employees. As brokers to the Federation of Window Cleaners we have negotiated with a specialist insurer Quinn Direct Ltd, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority to offer discounted liability insurance to members of the FWC. The policy offers a £10,000,000 level of indemnity for Employer's Liability Insurance and a range of options for Public Liability Insurance from £1,000,000 to £5,000,000 and more if needed. The policy offers your business many essential covers that you may have overlooked in the past including:
> Damage to property being worked upon, (such
as windows, floors, machinery etc) which
> most policies exclude.
> Treatment risks (damage to upholstery, carpets
etc).
> Loss of keys and consequential loss therefrom.
> An automatic height limit of 25m for window cleaning work.
> An option to increase the height limit to 85metres
> Cover for abseiling and work involving harnesses or cradles for
window cleaners

Cover can be arranged immediately over the phone and the premium can be paid monthly subject to an interest charge of 6% (a £50 minimum charge is applied by Premium Credit Ltd).
